Life can be stressful. Even the things that we love can be stressors. Especially for educators and entrepreneurs, our passions can get overwhelming at times. Fortunately, practicing mindfulness can help us combat that stress.

Here’s how I incorporate mindfulness into my everyday life to help me thrive as an educator and side hustler…

Living in the Moment

To combat the stress of teaching and side hustling, I like to start off the week with Mindfulness Moments. During these mindfulness moments, I’m able to truly live in the present moment. When you take the time to truly live in the present moment, past troubles or fear of the future dissolves away. Because when you’re worrying about the past or the future, you’re robbing yourself of the joy of right now. Being present allows you to enjoy the now and live in the present day.

Mindfulness and its Impact on Side Hustles and in the Classroom

Learning to live in the moment is a powerful skill. Harnessing the power of mindfulness allows you to appreciate right now and truly enjoy your life. It also takes away stress that might get in the way of success.
